Our Types Of Worship
We have many forms of worship at the 2 churches here you can find some details:
Traditional Holy Communion:
The timeless words of the 17th century Anglican Book of Common Prayer. All are welcome to receive Holy Communion.
Traditional Morning Prayer
Morning Prayer I, from the Book of Common Prayer in traditional language, with choirs leading with sung canticles, psalm and hymns.
Contemporary Holy Communion
A family friendly service in contemporary English with modern hymns from the Thanks & Praise hymnal. Children are very welcome to come forward to the communion rail for a blessing.
Contemporary Morning Prayer
Morning Prayer II, from the Book of Common Prayer
Cafe Church
A joint service between both congregations, held in either church hall with morning tea and coffee and lots of eat. Check Rectory Ramblings for more details of time and venue.
Sunday School
Sunday School happens during the academic year. In Billy, Sunday School meets before church at 9.45am and in St Colman’s, Sunday School meets at 12noon with the congregation and then go out with the Sunday School teachers.
